Space Exploration

Have you ever wondered whats up there in the stars? Well there are normal people out there are discovering it every day.Space exploration is a long held goal for humanity but the practicalities of achieving this goal are challenging. Because of the hazards the cost of these huge projects to explore space and how long it takes to get results back and finding nothing at all.

Space exploration is a very expensive goal. Because of the resources used to study space get ships probes satellites into space. Then maybe refueling ships fuel or send up other rockets to keep space exploration equipment working.Billions of dollars has been spent on exploring space the cost of failure is not acceptable in space exploration because of the high cost of the projects and sometimes peoples lives at stake. Overall space exploration is highly expensive.

You might think exploring space is easy and quick but in reality it is very long and tedious journey. The voyager probes Mk 1 and Mk 2 have just reached the depletion region the furthest region from the sun going onto inter stellar space. They were launched more then 30 years ago and they are still bringing back data today. This shows it is much more efficient to send unmanned space craft then ones that are manned. Exploring space doesn't mean you have to get a satellite to physically go some where and send back the data. You can use satellites in orbit around Earth to explore space like the Hubble space telescope use special instruments to measure light waves x-rays and radio waves to explore space.

Beside the down side of space exploration maybe being a bit slow. The results and benefits are well worth it. We could find a utopia out there somewhere that we could leave on. Researching the radiation in space that can lead to medical advancements on Earth. Maybe find a breakthrough on how to stop deterioration if u are in space for extended lengths of time. All these assets of exploring space make it definitely worth exploring the great unknown.

In summary space exploration is important future generations and Earths survival. The price of these projects may seem astronomical but in perspective we are insignificant compared to the rest of the galaxy and there are practically limitless resources out there that can be brought back. Because of the long time it takes to go to places space colonization seems near impossible in other solar systems.Overall the benefits of space exploration are significantly more important then the hazards or challenges of exploring space.
