Stella's Goat Island Camp

Night Snorkeling

Ice cold water prickled my cheeks as I floated forward. I felt power in my legs, that was the illusion the fins created. I gulped in short sharp breaths and tried to pretend I knew exactly what I was doing. The torch sent out a beam of white light, illuminating the misty water. A small skinny piper fish with a pointed nose followed the light, almost as fiatedly as me. I felt smooth sand under my feet and breathed a sigh of relief.
