Autumn Cabin a poem by Zoe McCracken

Autumn Cabin

Smoke
Drifting to the heavens from the brick en chimney

Clouds
Floating across the sky like dreamy sailboats

Leaves
Swaying in the oak trees as orange as fire but as cold as the night

Stones
Observing the crystalline waters whilst slowly gathering fluffy moss

Trees
Standing tall and proud but their orange leaves display their rapid age.
